Crown opens new records management center in Chandigarh

Mumbai, Jan 18 (UNI) Logistics and related services provider Crown Worldwide Group on Tuesday said it has opened a new state-of-the-art records management center in Chandigarh.
The company's record management division manages secure storage and retrieval of information in both physical and electronic format at its dedicated centers across the globe.
In India, this facility new facility will be its 13th center, having a capacity to store 100 thousand cartons when operational in the first phase.
"... our presence in Chandigarh is going to capture the opportunities created for records management and information management in line with the digital transformation that we are all forced to adopt for the future. The location will be the 13th branch under the South Asia operations and will operate under the group quality standard guidelines ensuring timely and seamless service delivery," Records Management, South Asia Assistant Vice President Praveen Joseph said.
Currently, Crown has records management centres in New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore, Bhubaneswar and Ludhiana.
The company said the new facility will encourage deeper engagement with clients such as financial services, healthcare, legal, manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries with the need for business information storage and management.
