CPI demands abolition of sedition law, Article 124-A in parliament

Tirupati, Jul 16 (UNI) : The Communist Party of India (CPI) National General Secretary Dr K Narayana on Friday called for abolition of the obsolete sedition law (article 124-A) in parliament immediately.
Addressing a media conference here, Narayana asked all the like- minded elements to support the campaign by the left parties ,Mamta Banerji ,Sharad Pawar ,Prashant Kishore to seek abolition of the hideous act in the coming parliament session.
He said the law of the British raj has since been annulled even by the British in 2009
