Cong govt in Telangana assures non-implementation of CAA or NRC: Uttam Kumar Reddy

Hyderabad, Apr 2 (UNI) Telangana Civil Supplies and Irrigation Minister Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy asserted that the Congress Government in Telangana would not enforce the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) or the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in the state.

Addressing an Iftar party in Kodad on Tuesday, Reddy underscored the restoration of democracy and secularism in Telangana with the Congress party's return to power. He criticized the previous BRS regime, highlighting the suppression and neglect faced by minorities during its tenure.
