BJP, TMC members argue over pol violence in WB in Parliamentary Committee

New Delhi, Jan 20 (UNI) The meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs on Wednesday witnessed heated exchanges between BJP and TMC members, as the two sides accused each other of abetting political violence in West Bengal.

The Parliamentary panel on Home Affairs, headed by the Congress Member of Parliament Anand Sharma, was convened today to discuss “Atrocities and Crimes against Women & Children” in Haryana and West Bengal, where senior officials of the two states gave presentations relating to the issue.
