BJP Chandigarh chief Sanjay Tandon welcomes new workers into party

Chandigarh, May 8 (UNI) Locked in a three-way contest with the Indian National Congress and Aam Aadmi Party in the bread basket of the nation, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday said it had been strengthened with the entry of Bapu Dham colony’s Sansy Samaj president Gurudev Singh, Shammi Pradhan, Ashok, Rajkumar along with their supporters.
They were welcomed into the party by BJP state chief Sanjay Tandon, BJP-Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) BJP MP Kirron Kher, vice-president Ramveer Bhatti and Bhimsen Aggarwal , former chief Kamla Sharma, Election management committee co-convener Satinder Singh, senior leader Pursottam Mahajan and councilor Anil Dubey.
Honouring them with a Saropa, Mr Tandon asserted that it is only the BJP that welcomes people from
all walks of life without any discrimination on any ground. Uniting people is of utmost importance to national interest, he added.
BJP-SAD candidate Kirron Kher said that the party is strengthening by leaps and bounds.
She also said that the joining of people from all walks of life is a testament to Prime Minister Narendra
Modi’s inclusive policies which has touched the hearts of all. She also displayed confidence in emerging victorious in the May 19 Lok Sabha elections in the state.
