New Delhi, June 23 (UNI) Charging the Narendra Modi Government at the Centre and the BJP-PDP coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir with betraying people and squandering away the work which Congress-UPA did to usher peace in the state, the Congress on Saturday said BJP national president Amit Shah was shedding 'crocodile tears' in front of the people of Jammu.
Reacting to Mr Shah equating its senior leader Ghulam Nabi Azad with Lashkar-e-Toiba, AICC media incharge Randeep Surjewala, in a statement, said the BJP chief had no business to lecture the Congress on nationalism because its top most leaders had shed their blood and sacrificed their lives nation by becoming victims to terrorism and naxalism.
After plunging Jammu and Kashmir into a deep turmoil, through an unethical opportunistic alliance, marred with a disquiet border, corruption, mal governance and false promises, in the last four years, BJP President, Amit Shah is shedding crocodile tears in front of the people of Jammu today. Facts are sacrosanct and they speak for themselves, so instead of doing this choreographed drama, Mr Shah should reflect upon hard facts., he added.
