Kolhapur, Oct 22 (UNI) A 80 year-old elderly farmers was killed on the spot when bees attacked him while six goats were also seriously injured in attack, which incident occured at Mendholi village in Shara tehsil if this district this morning.
According to Shara police, deceased farmer identified as Nanu Joytiba Kokitkar(80), who was gone at 'Kalvat' named field with his goats for graze, suddenly many bee from a honeycomb, attacked on Kokitkar and his goats. On this incident, Kokitkar was dead on the spot while all goats were seriously injured in attack, who were admitted at a veterinary hospital for treatment.
This incident cane in light following Kokitkar not returned the home and his family members were searching for him, who's body found in a field in a state of some need were buzzing around the dead body.
