6th edition of Science Film Festival of India from March 17

Panaji, Mar 6 (UNI) With an aim of inculcating an interest and to gain more knowledge about the world of science among the youngsters, the 6th edition of Science Film Festival of India will be held on March 17 and 18, 2021.
According to a statement, every year, the festival goes on for four days but, this year due to the ongoing pandemic, it has been restricted to two days. This year, the festival is focusing on creating interest among rural students in science and technology and, to reach their goal, the festival has started organizing the pre-fest activities in various schools across the rural regions of Goa as an outreach program. The activities have started from March 1 and will continue till March 15, 2021.
Vidnyan Parishad, Goa, President Suhas Godse said,''We are really happy to see the response we have received from these outreach activities and hope to see the same at the festival as well. Access to the vast knowledge of science should be given to every student, irrespective of being urban or rural, and it is through these programs and festivals that we aim to achieve our goal.”
