6 die, 2 injured in road mishap in Shimla

Shimla, Apr 19 (UNI) Six people, including three women, were killed and two others injured in road accident at Ranvai, 16 km from Chopal, this morning, police sources said.
Shimla SP O P Jamwal said that a Bolero Camper carrying eight people on board fell down in a 150 feet deep gorge at Ranavi on the way to Paouria to Nerwa, killing six people and injuring two others.
Local police rushed to the spot and evacuated the bodies of deceased identified as Sunil(32) Rajinder Gejta(59), Kalawati (47), Shanta Devi (55), Devi Singh(65) and Kalpana (45).
Injured Paras(23) and driver Arun (36) were rushed to CHC Chopal reported critical. Police is probing the cause of the accident. All the victims belonged to Paouria village of Chopal.
Police handed over the bodies to the relative of the deceased after the postmortem. The reason of accident is being probed after registering the case.
