1700 Covid cases in Manipur

Imphal, Jul 15 (UNI) The cumulative number of Covid 19 positive cases is 1,700 in Manipur.
The numbers of active and recovered cases are 620 and 1,080 respectively while the recovery rate is 63.52 per cent.
In the past 24-hours, 28 persons (19 M9 F) were confirmed as new COYID 19 cases at VRDL of RIMS (27) and SDH Lab. Jiribam (1). They were from Imphal West (10) Jiribam) (1) Kakching (1) Kamjong (4), Tamenglong (1) and Thoubal (11). They are being shifted to the Covid care facilities. All (except 4 persons namely a GP pradhan, a GP member, a security, guard and a volunteer from Thoubal District) were returnees from other states. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place.
