Zomato partners with TikTok; conducts food drive in 74 cities

New Delhi, July 11 (UNI) Food tech Zomato partnered with short video app TikTok in order to spread awareness on hunger and malnutrition in India.

"To mark its 11th anniversary, Zomato conducted a food drive across 74 cities in India and a total of 11 countries around the world," a statement here said on Thursday.

The food drive, powered by Feeding India, which is now a part of Zomato, witnessed over 22,000+ volunteers, including zomans, serve meals to the underprivileged across shelters.

TikTok creators also became proud Hunger Heroes for the day to celebrate the evening with the underprivileged, donate food and promote the cause using their wide following through the platform.
