Youth sent to seven-day police custody for murdering gay partner

Mumbai, Jan 22 (UNI) The Bandra Court here on Tuesday remanded a 23-year-old man hailing from Karnataka to police custody till January 28 on the alleged charge of murdering his homosexual partner, police said.
The accused identified as Vithal Appa was arrested from the Gulbarga city of the Karnataka state on January 21 under sections 302(murder) and 201(causing disappearance of evidence) of the IPC.
According to police, an unidentified naked body of a young man was found on January 4 at the Mahim Causeway.
