Yeddiyurappa launches curtain raiser of Invest Karnataka 2020 at WEF in Davos

Davos, Jan 23 (UNI) Chief minister BS Yediyurappa launched the curtain raiser of Invest Karnataka 2020, the global investors met, to be held in Bengaluru on November 3 to 5.
Speaking at the event here, chief minister invited the global businessmen and investors to take part in the invest Karnataka. More than 100 entrepreneurs, business men, heads and representatives of various companies participated in the event.
Niklaus Samuel Gugger, President, Swiss India parliamentary group, and a team of Swiss parliamentarians participated in the curtain raiser.
A team of senior officials of the state government also showcased various steps taken to make Karnataka a better place to do business and invited global companies to come to the state.
Union minister Piyush Goyal also asked the global companies who are participating in the WEF 2020 to invest in Karnataka and said the Yediyurappa government was working with a single mission of taking the state high.
Minister for large and medium industries of Karnataka Jagadish Shetter, chief secretary TM Vijya Bhshkar and other team members were also present on the occasion.
