Stating that Hyderabad is also the most preferred Aerospace and Defence manufacturing destination today for foreign OEMS such as Lockheed martin, Boeing, GE, Safran, Mr Rama Rao said over 1000 local MSMEs in the private sector defence manufacturing and Several of these MSMEs have grown into large companies with world class facilities, and highly skilled workforce operating in technologically advanced defence solutions.
Stating that VEM Technologies a leading example of how a local Telangana based company with humble beginnings have grown to be a technology leader in defence and aerospace, Mr Rama Rao said we are proud that our homegrown companies are today leading suppliers and trusted partners for domestic and foreign defence majors.
Mr Rama Rao said this facility would be a significant contributor to national security , developing indigenous defence capabilities critical for our armed forces. It would also help fulfil the country’s aspiration to be a leading exporter of defence technologies, he added.
