New Delhi, Nov 20 (UNI) Assam boxer Lovlina Borgohain (69kg) and five-time world champion Mary Kom (48kg) advanced to the semi-finals of the Women’s World Boxing Championships here on Tuesday.
Lovelina thrashed Kaye Scott of Australia with unanimous verdict (5-0) and assured India's second medal in the ongoing tournament.
The Assam boxer Lovlina won her quarter-final match 30-27, 29-28, 30-27,30-27,30-27.
