New Delhi, Sep 16 (UNI) A woman allegedly committed suicide in the national capital on Monday by jumping in front of a running metro train, police said.
According to police, the woman was identified as Asia Khan, resident of Shakti Nagar area near Roshanara Garden.
The incident took place at around 0804 hrs, as per local sources.
She was immediately rushed to Bara Hindu Rao Hospital, where she was declared brought dead, police said.
Further action will be taken upon inquiry, police said.
Delhi Metro services on Yellow Line were briefly delayed for a while, but later restored.
