Withdraw bus fare hike: Anbazhagan

Puducherry, Oct 19 (UNI) Taking strong exception to the many-fold bus fare hike in the union territory, AIADMK legislature party leader A Anbazhagan has urged Chief Minister V Narayansamy to convene a Cabinet meeting and withdraw the bus fare hike forthwith.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Anbazhagan said when the administration determined the auto rickshaw fares, it heard the views of different sections of the people including the legislators and the fare fixed in such a way that the auto drivers as well as the public were not affected .But now in the case of bus fare hike, it was hiked from 75 percent to 90 percent as per desired by the officials.
