Webcasting in all booths across 8 districts in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, April 16 (UNI) Webcasting will be implemented in all booths in eight districts of Kerala during the Lok Sabha elections, Chief Electoral Officer, Sanjay Kaul said on Tuesday.
These districts include Kasaragod, Kannur, Wayanad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Palakkad, Thrissur, and Thiruvananthapuram. In the remaining six districts, 75% of the booths will be equipped with webcasting facilities.
All problematic booths in these districts will be under live surveillance. Cameras will also be installed outside multiple booth polling centers to manage crowds. Measures like booth capturing, distribution of money, and fake voting will be prevented to ensure transparent elections.
