WB job scam: CBI raids multiple locations linked to alleged civic body recruitment irregularities

Kolkata, June 7 (UNI) The anti-corruption unit of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday conducted raids at multiple locations in connection with the alleged recruitment
irregularities in several civic bodies across West Bengal, official sources said.
The search operations were still in progress targeting as many as 14 municipalities, including South Dum, Panihati, Kanchrapara, Chinsurah, and Dum Dum.
The central investigation agency's raids across several locations in connection with the alleged irregularities associated with recruitment in civic bodies in the state.
According to the sources, the CBI also searched the Salt Lake area offices of the West Bengal Urban Development Department.
