Warm day in Delhi, air quality 'poor'

New Delhi, Apr 23 (UNI) National capital experienced sultry weather on Tuesday with maximum temperature settling at 40.3 degrees C, two points above season's average.
The relative humidity at 1730 hours was 29 per cent, while temperature is likely to drop a little towards the evening and night.
The day was bright and warm with clear skies.
However, air quality in the city was under the 'poor' category with an index value of 247 at 1900 hours, according to the Central Pollution Control Board.
For Wednesday, the Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky with minimum and maximum temperatures to hover around 21 and 41 degrees C, respectively.
In the morning, minimum temperature settled at 22.0 degrees C, a point below season's average, here.
