Chandigarh, Jul 2 (UNI) Top seeded pair of Vishnu Vardhan of India and Hugo Nys of France claimed doubles title after beating second seeded South African combination of Tucker Vorster and Nicolaas Scholtz in straight sets 6-4, 6-2 in 64 minutes in the final the $ 10,000 ITF Men's Futures Tennis Tournament in Harare (Zimbabwe) today. The Indo-French pair recorded 70.8 per cent their first service in while their rivals got 56.6 per cent. Vishnu-Hugo fired six aces and did not commit any double fault. Tucket-Nicolaas committed three double faults and scored same number of aces. Vishnu-Hugo won the first set after breaking their rivals in the third game and in the second set, the Indo-French pair gained breaks in the first and seventh games to win the set at 6-2 and the title. SHARRMADAA IN DOUBLES FINAL: Partnering with Ola Abou Zerky of Egypt, Sharrmadaa Baluu of India advanced to the doubles final defeating Shweta Chandra Rana of India and Margarita Lazareva of Russia in the semi-final by 6-4, 4-6, 15-13 of the $10,000 ITF Women's Tennis Tournament in Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt). Their title clash is against Ama Bianca Mihaila of Roumania and Eleni Kordolaimi of Greece who defeated Naomi Totka of Hungary and Petra Januskova of Canada by 7-5, 7-6 (4) in the second semi-final.
