Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Aug 27 2016 9:51PM Vigilance sleuths recover Rs 7.5 lakh cash from Malkangiri Executive EngineerBhubaneswar, Aug 27 (UNI) The sleuths of the Vigilance department today intercepted the car of Rural Works Division-I, Malkangiri Executive Engineer Ramesh Chandra Jalli and seized Rs 7.5 lakh cash from his vehicle. Vigilance sources here said acting on a tip-off that Mr Jalli was proceeding to Jeypore from Malkangiri in a car without a registration number with huge amount of illegal money, the Officers Kortaput Vigilance Division intercepted the car and seized the money. During interception, Mr Jalli failed to account for carrying such huge amount. A criminal case U/s 13(2) R/w 13(1), (e) P.C. Act. 1988 has been registered against Mr Jalli and his residential double storied building at Jeypore, paternal house at Kundra, official Government . quarter and office chamber at Malkangiri, are searched.
