US vote at UNSC on Gaza does not represent policy shift - White House

Washington, Mar 25 (UNI) The United States abstaining during a UN Security Council vote on a Gaza ceasefire resolution does not indicate any changes in Washington's policy, White House National Security Communications Adviser John Kirby said on Monday.
"Our vote does not, I repeat that, does not, represent a shift in our policy," Kirby said during a briefing.
Earlier in the day, the UN Security Council adopted a resolution calling for an immediate Ramadan ceasefire in Gaza that leads to a lasting and sustainable ceasefire.
