US: Two killed, 6 injured in shooting in Memphis

Memphis, April 21 (UNI) At least two people have been killed and 6 others injured in a shooting at a party in the city of Memphis in the US state of Tennessee, Memphis Police Dept said on Sunday.
"At 7:19 p.m. [on Saturday, 00:00 GMT on Sunday], officers responded to the 2400 Block of Carnes Avenue regarding a shooting. Officers located five victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds on the scene, three of whom were transported to area hospitals in critical condition, and two males were pronounced deceased," the police said on X.
A total of 6 people were injured in the shooting, with one of them remaining in critical condition, the police added.
