Upsets galore as ISA junior Open reaches final stage

Chennai, Feb 15 (UNI) There were upsets galore as the tussle for ascendancy was truly spirited in various age categories in the Indian Squash Academy (ISA) junior Open circuit I, a two-star national circuit event here on Friday.
At the end of the penultimate day’s proceedings the semi-finals were completed in all age groups and the good news for the Indian Squash Academy was that six out of the nine finals tomorrow would have its trainees.
Among the upset results, the most striking seemed the fall of Shreemann Raghavan, the top seed at the hands of Navaneeth S. Prabhu, a ¾ seed in the boys U-17 section. Similarly in the girls U-15 category, S. Akshya Sri(3-4 seed) ousted the top seed R Pooja Aarthi, both like the boys earlier were Tamil Nadu contestants.
