New Delhi, Feb 20 (UNI) The Supreme Court has dismissed a curative petition filed by Association of Victims of Uphaar Tragedy in connection with the 1997 blaze in the south Delhi theatre in which 59 cinegoers had perished.
A bench, headed by Chief Justice S A Bobde, on last Thursday, rejected the curative plea.
"We have gone through the curative petitions and the relevant documents. In our opinion, no case is made out. Hence, the curative petition is dismissed," the bench said in its order.
