UP govt employees to apply for leave online

Lucknow, Apr 29 (UNI) There is a bad news for the Uttar Pradesh government employees as now their leave applications will not be accepted on paper. They need to file their applications on-line and can proceed to leave only after getting a digital approval.
The decision was taken after reports poured in that employees used to tear their applications after joining their duty. This, the officials say, was affecting government working.
The IT Department has prepared a “Leave Module” which is divided into three parts. The employee needs to apply which will then go to the Departmental head for approval and the third part will go to the Headquarters for record.
