Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad donates 1 crore to fight covid-19 pandemic

Patna, Mar 26 (UNI) Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today announced to

donate Rs 1 crore from his MP fund to fight the covid-19 pandemic.

Making the announcement for the donation Mr Prasad said in a message here

today that he has donated the fund in view of the unprecedented crisis the country

was fighting against.

He said that the fund would be utilised by the district administration of Patna in

fighting against covid 19 pandemic.

The minister further the said that he would personally monitor the utilisation of

the fund donated by him.

Meanwhile, Bihar State Cooperative Bank operating under the Cooperative

department of state government also donated rupees one crore in the CM relief

fund to fight against the spread of corona virus in the state.
