Umar Alisha trust distributes antidote to gas leak affected people in AP

Visakhapatnam, May 7 (UNI) Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust (UARDT), an arm of Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Adhyatmika Peetham, Pithapuram on Thursday distributed antidote homeopathic medicine to more than 2,500 people who have inhaled the poisonous gas leakage from LG Polymers India Private Limited (LGPI).
All the people residing nearby the company have been evacuated and they were rehabilitated at areas like Jerripothulapalem, Venkatapuram, Vepagunta, Sujathanagar, Gosala, Simhaopuri Colony, Arilova Gosala, the Trust Convener and homeopathic doctor Pingali Ananda Kumar said in a statement here.
''All the rehabilitated people are safe and did not present with any significant complaints except very few complaining of nausea and eyes irritation'', Dr Kumar further said.

Telangana CM warns of strict action if students face hardships, amid indefinite strike by colleges

Hyderabad, Nov 7 (UNI) In the wake of the ongoing indefinite strike by Private Professional colleges in Telangana demanding fee reimbursement dues, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday evening warned of strict action if the students face hardships to pursue their studies.
The government will not tolerate the "collusion politics" between the political parties and colleges, the CM warned at a press conference here.

Kerala to provide 4 pc interest subsidy for women-led Responsible Tourism enterprises

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 7 (UNI) In a country-first initiative aimed at strengthening women entrepreneurship in the tourism sector, the Kerala Government has come out with a scheme to subsidise 4 per cent interest on loans provided by the Kerala State Women Development Corporation (KSWDC) for women-led enterprises registered with the Kerala Responsible Tourism Mission Society (KRTMS).
