UD Ministry seeks Swachh action plans from DUSIB, 3 MCDs in week

New Delhi, Jun 27 (UNI) Union Urban Development Ministry today sought action plans from Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) and the three Municipal Corporations of Delhi in a week’s time for construction of required number of Community and Public Toilet seats and Individual Household Toilets for making Delhi ‘Open Defecation Free’ (ODF) at the earliest.
Mr Durga Shanker Mishra, union urban development secretary, today held detailed discussion with the officials of DUSIB and the three MCDs in this regard and stressed on the need to make the national capital ODF by October this year.
He directed these agencies to come with necessary action plans for further discussion on July 4.
