Two youths sentenced to 7-year RI for robbery

Palghar, Dec 22 (UNI) The District Court here has sentenced two youths to seven-year rigorous imprisonment, along with fine of Rs 1,500 each, on charges of robbery, with attempt to cause death.
In his order, District Judge S S Gulhane on Friday convicted the accused under Sections 392, 394 and 397 of IPC, along with Sections 3 and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959.
Additional Public Prosecutor Sunil Sawant informed the court that on the night of January 2, 2015, accused Rahul Ganesh (23) and Prabhu Sanjay (23) crept into a small food outlet at Kolawade Naka of this district to carry out theft.
