Two senior Bhiwandi civic officials suspended in connection of building collapse

Thane, Sep 21 (UNI) Two senior officials of the Bhiwandi Nizampur City Municipal Corporation have been suspended in connection with Monday's building collapse, which has so far claimed 12 lives and left more than 10 injured.
In connection with the building collapse, assistant municipal commissioner Sudham Jadhav and engineer and verification officer Dudhnath Yadav have been suspended upon the orders of the civic chief Dr Pankaj Ashiya, an official release stated here.
Also, an enquiry committee has been set up under the chairmanship of additional commissioner of the BNMC.
