Two arrested for murder of blind man in Palghar

Palghar, Aug 8 (UNI) The Rural Police on Saturday arrested two men on the charge of allegedly attacking and murdering a blind man and injuring his wife in Nala Sopara of the district.
On the night of July 28 at around 2330 hours, two unidentified people were shouting loudly and creating a nuisance in the Jijai Nagar of Moregaon in Nala Sopara, so the victim, Mukesh Sulatpatbahar (45), along with his wife Lalita (40) went out of the house to check as to what was the issue, police said.
When the couple enquired with the duo about the commotion and asked them not to make noise, the accused persons kicked the couple and also attacked them with a blade, killing the man on the spot while his wife was badly injured.
