Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jun 26 2016 6:52PM TTD to build replica of Tirumala Venkateswara templeVijayawada, June 26 (UNI) The Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) will build the replica of the famous Venkateswara temple of Tirumala in the PWG grounds, in the heart of the city here, on the devotional occasion of Krishna Pushkarams. Disclosing this to media at a press conference here today, TTD Joint Executive officer Srinivasa Raju said that on the occasion of Krishna pushkarams, beginning on August 12, 2016, lakhs of pilgrims throng the city to have a holy dip in the river Krishna. The TTD would build the replica of the famous Tirumala Venkateswara temple in the PWD ground at a cost of Rs.1.85 crore. Rs 78 lakh would be spent for electrical works for the replica temple. Four line queue complex would also be constructed to ensure that devotees would have darshan of the deity comfortably.
