TSIC organizes Intinta Innovator expo 2022

Hyderabad, Aug 16 (UNI) To promote the culture of innovation, Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC) has organized its fourth edition of Intinta Innovator Exhibition 2022 across 33 districts in the state on the occasion of Independence Day on Monday.
The program, a mechanism to scout innovators from interiors, is conducted for two-and-half months before Independence Day in collaboration with 33 district administrations, TSIC said in a release here on Tuesday.
TSIC recognises scouted innovators across the state with an aim to encourage frugal and local innovators to create solutions for societal problems and serve as a platform between the innovators and the people & administration of their district.

Karnataka HC questions Waqf Board issuing marriage certificates

Bengaluru, Nov 12 (UNI) The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday raised critical questions about a government order authorising the Waqf Board to issue marriage certificates to Muslim couples, describing it as "unheard of in law."
The court made the remarks during the hearing of a petition challenging the legality of the September 30, 2023, order issued by the Minority, Wakf and Haj Department.
