TRS usurp coveted posts by violating democratic norms : Dr Laxman

Hyderabad, Jan 28 (UNI) Launching a scathing attack on the ruling TRS party, state BJP president Dr K Laxman on Tuesday alleged that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao son Minister K T Rama Rao made ''mockery of democracy by grabbing coveted posts of municipalities and corporations in an undemocratic manner''.
Addressing a press conference at state party office here, Mr Laxman alleged that ruling party leaders have adopted undemocratic and unconstitutional methods in usurping chairmanship and vice chairman posts of municipalities and mayor posts in corporations where BJP have gained majority.
Terming CM KCR and his son KTR, who is also municipal administration minister as “political opportunists”, the BJP chief said that the ruling party has indulged in various tactics to win the elections including ''violation of elections norms, distribution of money to lure voter and misusing of official machinery''.
