TRAU look to continue winning momentum against Aizawl

Imphal, Jan 24 (UNI) The I-League starts the weekend in Imphal as the resurgent TRAU FC host Aizawl FC in a home fixture on Saturday.
TRAU are placed third on the points table with 11 points from eight matches and have been on a winning spree since their historic victory in the Imphal derby which set their run in motion.
Since then, they have defeated the Indian Arrows 2-0 and Churchill Brothers FC Goa 2-1 respectively, all of which came since the arrival of head coach Dimitris Dimitriou.

The former champions lie ninth on the table at the moment with eight points from seven games, out which they have only lost a solitary match and drawn five games.
A win in this match will ensure Aizawl’s first win after a continuous streak of four draws.

The match will be broadcast LIVE on DSPORT and can be streamed online on FanCode from 1400 hrs.
