TPCC raises concerns over deletion of voters' names in GHMC lists

Hyderabad, April 17 (UNI) G Niranjan, Senior Vice President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), expressed apprehension regarding the removal of approximately 5.41 lakh voters from the electoral rolls under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), announced just a day before the election notification.

In a statement issued on Wednesday night, Niranjan acknowledged the importance of removing voters with fake addresses, as well as deceased and duplicate entries, but cautioned against the risk of inadvertently excluding genuine voters during the purge process.
