Tourist from Scotland found unconscious in apartment,dies on way to hospital

MISHAP-BENGAL-TOURIST



Kolkata, Oct 19 (UNI) A foreign traveler was found dead by her companions in their rented apartment here and died on way to hospital, police said today.

The deceased, identified as Halen(40), a tourist from Scotland, was on a tour to India along with five other companions. The group had checked in at an apartment in the Jodhpur Park complex in the city on October 17.
They were supposed to leave for Mumbai today (Saturday).

Police said Halen was found in an unconscious state by her mates in her room around 1200 hours on Saturday.
She was declared dead at a local hospital, police added.
