To know Savarkar, just spend 10 hours in Andaman jail: Fadnavis to critics

Nanded, Jan 27 (UNI) To critics of Hindu icon late Veer Savarkar, former chief minister and Leader of the Opposition in the state Assembly, Devendra Fadnavis here on Monday asked them to just spend 10 hours in cellular jail of Andaman where Savarkar was jailed for 10 years.
Addressing a special programme organised to mark golden jubilee of Abhinav Bharat Shikshan Sanstha. here, the BJP leader said that the works done by Veer Savarkar for the nation are noteworthy and challenged the critics of Savarkar to spend at least 10 hours in the Cellular jail in Andaman where he was lodged by the colonial British government.
Praising the life and mission of another freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Mr Fadnavis said that his (Bose’s) life is guiding the country.
