TMC trying to change demography and curtailing rights of Indians in Bengal : PM MODI

Raiganj/Balurghat, Apr 16 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on
Tuesday hardened his attack on the Trinamool Congress,
accusing the ruling party of trying to change the demography of West Bengal by allowing the infiltrators from Bangladesh and
Rohingyas to settle here and curtailing the rights of the Indian citizens.
" The demography of the state is being changed with the influx of infiltrators from Bangladesh and Rohingyas as they have safe refuge in Bengal and the rights of the Indian citizens are being curtailed under the TMC rule, " Modi asserted.
Addressing an election rally in favour of BJP candidate Kartik Pal for Raiganj Lok Sabha seat, Modi alleged that the rallies of
Ram Navami were not allowed in the state and if such rallies
were permitted by other means (Judiciary), stone pelting and
break batting happened to them.
He alleged that people of Bengal have been affected badly owing to TMC's divisive policy and it has been making all attempts to oppose the CAA, which is a guarantee for the refugees settled here for having Indian citizenship.
" Unfortunately there is no set government rules in the state for the
common people and new rules and regulations are adopted at the behest of
promoters, corrupt people and syndicated people, " Modi pointed out and
added the TMC's goons do not allow the people to cast
votes freely.
The state has already suffered for long under the rule of
Congress, Left, and now the TMC, Modi said.
" After witnessing such a massive gathering, especially from women,
mothers and sisters, now I am convinced
the people of Bengal are fully prepared for a change in the coming
election, " the PM said.
" West Bengal's anger against TMC, Congress and Left is clearly
visible. Come to Raiganj ( North Dinajpur) to witness the enthusiasm
for the BJP, "
Modi pointed out.
The presence of massive gathering despite the scorching heat and
unbearable humidity was significant as the people were seen
cooling off whatever they had for fanning.
Modi said the past ten years was only a trailer and after June 4,
the day the result will come out for the 18th Lok Sabha poll, BJP would
start
all its beneficial schemes to create Atmanirbhar Bharat, including that
of West Bengal.
" This is Modi ki guaranteed, " the PM said
and asked the people to vote in large numbers to ensure plus 400 seats
in the 2024 general election.
" Corruption, Parivaarwad, political murders, attacks on the Central
anti-corruption agency and anti-terrorist agency have become common
in West Bengal, " Modi stated.
He said the offenders of the Sandeshkhali and the corrupt people would not
be spared and they must have a place in jails.
Earlier in the day at Balurghat in South Dinajpur, Modi said TMC was
spreading lies on the CAA and alleged that West Bengal has become a
safe refuge for the infiltrators
coming from across the borders.
