TMC announces programme of protest against BJP across Bengal

Kolkata. Oct 6 (UNI) Trinamool Congress (TMC) General Secretary Partha Chatterjee today
announced a state-wide programme of protest by the party against the BJP tomorrow.
Addressing a press conference, Mr Chatterjee said, it will be against the politics of
negativity being carried on by the BJP, including causing riots and indulging in
destructive activities.
The protests will be staged across all the districts and in Kolkata as well, from 1300 to
1400 hours.
In Kolkata, they will be staged at Dharmatala, Hazra More, Shyambazar More, Gariahat
More, Garia More, Tollygunge Phanri, bus stand for route no. 14 in Behala, Sakher Bazar,
Taratala More and 8B Bus Stand in Jadavpur, he said.
Mr Chatterjee said the protests will be held in an orderly manner to cause minimum
inconvenience to the people. The Trinamool Congress believes in conducting its activities in a democratic manner.
TMC general secretary appealed to everyone to join this protest against those who have
insulted Chief Minister and party supremo Mamata Banerjee.
