TJSS continues benevolent works: Distributed winterwear in remote hamlet

Ambassa (Tripura), Dec (UNI) The tribal employees organization of BJP, Tripura Janajati Sebuk Sangha (TJSS) has continued its drive for empowering and stabilizing tribal community as they have distributed 43 blankets among the villagers in the remote tribal hamlet of Adarsha colony in the bordering subdivision of Kamalpur in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here today.
To reach the hamlet of Adarsha colony a distance of almost 5 kilometers have to be covered on foot on the hilly terrain. The distressed life of the people living there need early look from the government which the local MLA Asis Das has also recognized.
In the programme the organization has distributed 43 blankets among the poverty-stricken families which the local people have accepted in a rejoicing mood. Besides the MLA Asis Das, the Central Committee President Dr. Biswajit Debbarma, the Vice President Mrinal Kanti Debbarma and the Cultural Secretary Tapi Debbarma of TJSS have been present.
