Thunderstorm with hailstorm to occur in Telangana in next 3 days : Met

Hyderabad, Apr 9 (UNI) Thunderstorm accompanied with hailstorm, lightning and gusty winds (30- 40 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Medak, Sangareddy, Khammam, Jangoan, Mahabubnagar, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Suryapeet, Jogulamba-Gadwal, Wanaparthy, Mahabubabad, Warangal Urban, Jayashankar-Bhupalpally and Bhadadri-Kothagudem of Telangana during the next three days, Meteorological Centre warned on Thursday.
In a bulletin here, it also warned that thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds (30-40 kmph) & lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and in the districts of Anantapur, Chittoor, Kadapa and Kurnool in Rayalaseema of Andhra Pradesh during the next 48 hours and 24 hours respectively.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at few places in Telangana during the next five days, in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next three days and in Rayalaseema during next two days, the bulletin said.
