Three illegal arms suppliers arrested, 27 semi-automatic pistols seized

New Delhi, Dec 7 (UNI) Three men, including a wrestler and a professional DJ have been arrested for alleged illegal arms trafficking. Total 27 semi-automatic pistols were seized from them, the police said on Tuesday.
In two separate operations, Delhi Police Special Cell arrested trio, identified as Yogesh Patel (22) alias Nilesh, native of Madhya Pradesh’s Damoh district, Pankaj Kumar Bharwaj (20), of Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh district and Jitender (25) alias Jittu of Mathura, said Police.
In the first operation, the police arrested Yogesh, who is a professional Disk Jockey (DJ), In the second operation, the team apprehended Pankaj who has participated in different wrestling tournaments, and Jitendra. A total of 27 illegal weapons, a car, mobile phones and SIMs which were being used in supply of illegal arms were recovered from them, the police said.
