Three CPIM councilors resign alleging nexus of Chairperson with BJP in Tripura district

Ambassa, Nov 22(UNI) Three CPIM councilors resigned from their posts alleging the nexus of the Chairperson with BJP in the Municipal Corporation in the subdivision of Ambassa in Dhalai district, in the last 30 days.
The councilors who have resigned include Suchitra RoyChoudhury from ward number 01, Ruma Das from ward number 02 and Dipen Sutradhar from ward number 12.
They have alleged that the Chairperson Chandan Bhowmik has been in unholy nexus with the local BJP leaders and are working as per their own will. Hence, they have found it humiliating to continue in the body and resigned from their posts. Though the incumbent 13 member body does not face any power threat, but the resignations have raised questions.
