New Delhi, Oct 5 (UNI) This year, as India decks up for revelries, NTPC Ltd is paying a befitting tribute to the Indian Space Agency for its second lunar exploration mission, giving a unique theme, ‘Chandrayaan2’, to its five-day Durga Puja celebrations being held at the NTPC Township in Noida, Sector 33.
As part of the event, different models of satellites like the GSLV MK III M19, Pragyan, Vikram, PSLV, Schematics, Diagrams, and Robotics will be showcased at the venue to offer a visual experience to the visitors.
Apart from this, in an endeavour to spread the messages of ‘Go-Green and ‘Say No to Plastic’, a Durga Pandal has been created and decorated with the help of eco-friendly materials. In addition to this, children would be performing at cultural nights in order to raise awareness on various issues like water conservation, women empowerment, clean environment drive, to name a few.
Hundreds of spectators not only from the NCR region but from all across NTPC plants in India come to visit the puja pandal. Every year, NTPC organises spectacular creations that are not only a treat to the eyes but also a platform that offers to raise awareness on a plethora of cultural and social issues.
