There is no respect for women dignity even in Parliament: Renuka

New Delhi, Feb 9 (UNI) Congress member Renuka Chowdhury on Friday said that she was hurt by the comments of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and worndered that if women's dignity is not respected in the Parliament what would be the plight of a woman travelling on road.
While taking part in the discussion on the General Budget in the Rajya Sabha, Ms Chowdhury said that the Budget had cut down the allocation on the Nirbhaya fund.
''This fund was launched to provide relief and honour to the women victims. But as far as women's dignity is concerned, the Prime Minister had insulted a woman in this House and the Home Minister whose responsibility it is to protect everyone, tweeted the statement.
