Telangana to maintain cordial relations with neighbouring states: CM

Hyderabad, May 25 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao made it clear that the policy of Telangana is to maintain cordial relations with neighbouring States in a give and take manner, and same would be followed in case of Andhra Pradesh also.

The Chief Minister said that, if only the River Godavari and the River Krishna waters are used effectively, then both the States would prosper in all aspects.

Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, who won in the recent Assembly elections held in Andhra Pradesh and after being elected as YSRCP Legislature Party leader, called on Chief Minister along with his wife in Pragathi Bhawan on Saturday evening, an official statement here said.

On this occasion, some interesting discussion took place between both the leaders.
CM KCR extended friendly hand to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy saying that friendly relations would be established with Andhra Pradesh State.

“Right from the beginning it has been our intention to maintain cordial and friendly relations with neighbouring states. I personally went to Maharashtra and met CM Devendra Fadnavis and took initiative on the aspect of water disputes between erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra resulting in hold up of construction of projects. I told our policy would be live and let live. I also said that by solving disputes both the States will be benefited. With this Maharashtra came forward to cooperate. As a result, we are able to construct Kaleshwaram and other projects. Our policy would be to maintain similar relations with the present Andhra Pradesh State also. Let us act in a such a manner so that both the States are benefited” CM KCR told Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Kakinada, May 1 (UNI) Two girl students of CSE first year of JNTUK College of Engineering – G Padmapriya and M. Kavitha - have been selected for the prestigious Amazon Future engineering programme in the National level competition.
