Hyderabad, Oct 16 (UNI) Telangana Government has decided to extend the last date for filing applications under Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) to October 31.
With the objective of bringing unplanned, unapproved, unauthorized layouts into the fold of planned, sustainable development and to provide basic facilities in these areas, the government issued the ‘ Telangana Regularization of unapproved and illegal layout rules 2020’ on August 31 by introducing a ‘ Layout Regularization Scheme (LRS), Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar said in a release here on Thursday night.
The last date for filling LRS applications has been extended following the representations received by the government stating that due to the recent heavy rains, there have been disruptions in internet services and power supply at several locations and in view of this, many people have not been able to file their applications, the release said.
